COMING SOON: Geeks Unite!

I am a geek. And I am proud of that fact.

I also do digital scrapbooking.

So nothing makes me happier than finding a kit that fits my geeky interests - particularly when it comes time to scrap layouts about my fandoms or conventions I've attended or trips I've taken or parties I've hosted for season premieres.

However...it seems that finding such treasures takes some digging. And even though I've been playing in the digiscrap world for just a little over two years, there are so many online stores and so many designers who do their own thing and sell through etsy that I'm sure I haven't even scratched the surface of what's out there.

So this blog will be about those geeky treasures. Whether you're a Whovian, a Trekker or a Sherlockian...whether your passion is anything Disney or George R.R. Martin  or J.K. Rowling...whether it's steampunk, cosplay or Renn faires...whether it's movies, books or pure fantasy...I'm going to do my best to collect information about these kits and how to find them, so you can use this blog as a resource for your geeky scrappiness. Consider it an archive. Or a library.

I work with several designers who have kits which I think fall in the "geek" category. For many of these kits, there will be fun little goodies available when I write about them.

But I only know of a limited number. And this is where YOU come in! If you're interested in this blog, my guess is that you have your own fannish tendencies, and you've maybe found your own treasures out there somewhere. I'd love to know about them so I can contact the designer about including their work here.

So that's the grand plan. That's my dream - a place where geeks like me can get leads on kits that match their interests and can be used for layouts. I hope you'll join me in this venture.

The first regular post will (hopefully) show up around August 1st. See you then!
